I recently took Elle with me on a little trip down memory lane, back to the teal doors where I spent so many years building my business before closing in 2021, just before she was born.

And after finalizing the sale earlier this month, I finally felt ready to put into words the goodbye I’ve been holding onto for years.

To those who walked through the teal doors with me — team, clients, collaborators, friends — thank you for believing in the work and for helping shape that chapter. Every role mattered then, and it still matters to me today. 🖤

Our last-minute staycation at @thecavaliervb was such a treat! We had sparkling cider, manicures, dinner and ice cream by the water, live music followed by a movie in bed with popcorn and gummy bears. The next morning, we enjoyed brunch with our gal pals, and the Cavalier surprised Elle with a teddy bear and candy on our way out. Such a fun girls’ night with my bestie! 🖤

We ended our summer celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary in Williamsburg after hurricane Erin changed our OBX plans. We hit the downtown, Busch Gardens and had a pool day. Thank you mom and dad for setting an example of what marriage and commitment looks like - we love you! 🖤

My garden was overflowing with oregano so it was time to cut it back and dry a small batch for cooking. 🌱

The key to trimming oregano back is to cut a 4–6 inch section just below a leaf node. I rinse then allow to dry on paper towels overnight before putting on a parchment paper covered baking sheet and bake on 175 degrees for about an hour. I then grind the dry oregano and place in an airtight container for cooking. Adding to pasta sauce and homemade pizza is my favorite! 🍝🍕
