Only a few weeks away from welcoming baby girl!
We lucked out with a warm and sunny December afternoon in Virginia Beach for our baby girl bump photoshoot, shot by friend and former colleague, Melissa Gilmore. This was our first time shooting at the Narrows in First Landing State Park and the draw was the fallen tree on the beach you see the boys climbing all over throughout the images. They enjoyed the tree so much we visited the park again he very next day, this time in play clothes.
I had procrastinated on getting a dress up until the day before the shoot, so I was thrilled to find so many options at a local boutique, Mom and Me. While I normally opt for floor length dresses for maternity shoots, this time I chose a rose taupe colored midi-length number with Swiss dots. In addition to my dress, I also picked up new shirts for each of the boys and of course could not leave with a few things for baby girl! (Grant's Shirt). At 32 weeks pregnant, this shoot captures our excitement for baby girl before the swollen and exhausting final few weeks of pregnancy. A big thank you to Melissa for capturing these special moments!

I loved one shot from my first baby bump shoot back in 2016 with Grant so much, I recreated it in 2018 when pregnant with Nathan, and again in this most recent baby girl bump shoot in 2022.
