Hot Chocolate Bar

Coco bombs and all the fixings!

Hot chocolate bombs were one of the great things to come out of 2020 and so were hot chocolate bars with all the fixings! Looking for any reason to make the holiday special, I decided to host an intimate party with one of our 'quarantine crew' families.

Here are a few of the sugary highlights:

  • Mini candy canes

  • Chocolate and candy covered pretzel sticks

  • Pull-and-Peel Twizzlers

  • Peppermint spoons

  • Carmel candies

  • Pirolines

  • Chocolate-covered pretzels

  • Peppermint Oreos

  • Mini marshmallows (of course)

Also, check out these perfect stainless steel double insulated travel mugs I snagged off Amazon for $13.99! They come in 20 different colors.

Warm drinks and sweet memories were made!

Quick Takeaways:

  • If you are interested in making chocolate bombs, use traditional mix or call your local bakery to see if they are whipping up any of these festive treats.

  • The more candy the merrier -- I was both shocked by the amount of candy needed to put this spread together and by how much was consumed by four small children!

  • Parents feel free to spike your hot chocolate with Bailey's or peppermint vodka -- because why should the kids have all of the fun!?

  • Check out my white chocolate peppermint martini blog if you'd rather a more adult beverage!
